Pokud Poskytovatel provozuje lokální katalog otevřených dat s podporou CKAN API, může si katalog zaregistrovat v NKOD a tím zajistit publikaci záznamů z lokálního katalogu v NKOD. Pro registraci je nutný přístup k datové schránce Poskytovatele dat nebo možnost datovou schránkou poslat XML soubor jako přílohu.

Správa záznamu lokálního katalogu je prováděna zasíláním XML dokumentů ve formě přílohy datové zprávy do datové schránky s identifikátorem uur3q2i „Automat PVS (Ministerstvo vnitra)“ spravované Ministerstvem vnitra ČR. Tyto XML dokumenty lze získat pomocí formulářů dostupných na stránkách Rejstříku datových zdrojů, kde je také k dispozici dokumentace jejich struktury.

Registrace lokálního katalogu je provedena zasláním registračního XML dokumentu, který lze získat například vyplněním formuláře „Registrace odkazu na lokální katalog“. V tom případě je postup registrace lokálního datového katalogu v NKOD následující: - Ve formuláři NKOD kliknout na „Registrace odkazu na lokální katalog“; - Vyplnit název katalogu, jméno a email správce katalogu a kliknout na „Další“; - Do pole Odkaz na stažení datového zdroje zadat adresu funkce package_list CKAN API lokálního katalogu, která vrací seznam názvů obsažených datových sad, například https://priklad.cz/api/3/action/package_list, a kliknout na „Další“; - V posledním kroku je třeba zvolit jednu ze dvou možností: - přímé odeslání z formuláře do ISDS - pokud jsou k dispozici přihlašovací údaje k datové schránce Poskytovatele dat; - alternativní způsob odeslání - pak je třeba výsledný XML soubor poslat datovou schránkou (například přes spisovou službu Poskytovatele dat) jako přílohu zprávy a adresovat ji na datovou schránku „Automat PVS (Ministerstvo vnitra)“ s ID uur3q2i.

Registraci lokálního katalogu otevřených dat je možno zneplatnit (zrušit) zasláním XML dokumentu, který lze získat pomocí formuláře „Smazání datové sady nebo odkazu na katalog“. V tom případě je postup zrušení následující: - V Rejstříku datových zdrojů nalézt ID záznamu s registrací lokálního katalogu, viz obrázek; - Ve formuláři NKOD kliknout na „Smazání datové sady nebo odkazu na katalog“; - Vyplnit ID záznamu a kliknout na „Další“; - V posledním kroku je třeba zvolit jednu ze dvou možností: - přímé odeslání z formuláře do ISDS - pokud jsou k dispozici přihlašovací údaje k datové schránce Poskytovatele dat; - alternativní způsob odeslání - pak je třeba výsledný XML soubor poslat datovou schránkou (například přes spisovou službu Poskytovatele dat) jako přílohu zprávy a adresovat ji na datovou schránku „Automat PVS (Ministerstvo vnitra)“ s ID uur3q2i.
